A book from our Seduced and Abandoned series of photographs – 15 black and white double-page images, no words.
The photographs of discarded Christmas trees reference crime-scene photography and Japanese photo-books – they highlight the casual unthinking in ritual, with the trees dressed up in gaudy decorations for the brief amusement of others and then stripped and, often literally, thrown in the gutter.
The books are 210mm x 148.5mm, 32 pages, thread-sewn into a soft cover and gloss-foiled on front and spine.
They are currently available from us and 50 are on sale as numbered editions with an accompanying colour print from the series.
